Troops offers girls an opportunity to work with the same group of girls in their own grade level. As a group, the troop participates in several activities over a span of nine to twelve months. Activities include campouts, father and daughter dances, sporting events or whatever your troop finds fun! Troops can attend council-sponsored events or use their imagination to develop their own activities.

Girls often form strong friendships during their time together and ultimately choose to stay together through each level of Girl Scouting. One or more adults serve as Troop Leaders who guide the girls in a variety of ways.
