Travel offers girls, regardless of previous Girl Scout involvement, leadership and cross-cultural opportunities through regional, national, and international travel. Girls can travel by troop, with Service Units, through a council-sponosred trip or with just a few Girl Scout friends.

Texas Girl Scout Councils Offering Summer 2014 International Trip: June 17th - June 24th
GSCTX is teaming up with our fellow Texas Girl Scout Councils and EF Tours for Girl Scouts to bring you the sights and sounds of Paris, London and Versailles. You'll event visit Pax Lodge in Hampstead while bonding with Girl Scouts from Northeast, Greater South Texas, Southwest Texas, San Jacinto, Desert Southwest and Texas Oklahoma Plains councils. Can't make the GSCTX-sponsored trip? No worries! Start planning for this summer trip brought to you by your Waco Service Unit sister Girl Scouts. June 8th - June 14th you will explore Iatly and Greece - visiting Flornece, Rome, Sorrento, Patras, Athens and Delphi landmarks. For more information on this trip, email blbartek@grandecom.net. DESTINATIONS

  • Check out the GSUSA Destinations website for more information about the program.
  • Download your application and submit it with two references to our travel coordinator.
  • The host council, Girl Guide Association, or private organization will notify you if you are accepted into the program.  A Girl Scout who is accepted must notify our program department.
  • Be prepared to arrange and pay for transportation, pay a deposit to the host council or organization to hold your space if required.
  • If you are accepted and meet the council guidelines for financial assistance, the council will support one trip request during the program year. Click here for our updated destinations financial assistance guidelines.
