Camp is a special place of self-discovery, laughter, fun and personal growth. Girl Scout camps transport girls to an environment where they have fun trying new activities, make new friends, and learn about themselves.

Girl Scouts of Central Texas is proud to offer multiple day and resident camps with a wide variety of programming and camping options. Campers may attend sessions that cater to their special interests, or try something completely new! Choose from making a movie, building a robot, exploring myths and legends, horseback riding, and much more.

No summer is complete without a trip to Girl Scout camp!

Outdoor Journey

A $50 non-refundable deposit must accompany all camp registrations. The deposit is only refundable if the council cannot place the camper in one of the sessions listed on her registration form. This deposit will be applied to the cost of the camp session and the balance of payment will be due by May 19th. Girl Scout Dough may be used for camp fees. If you do not have your Girl Scout Dough upon submission of your registration deposit, a cookie dough activity form needs to be filled out a submitted to product sales dept; you will then be issued a reimbursement once the Girl Scout dough activity form is submitted. Failure to submit full payment by May 19th 2014 will result in loss of $50 non-refundable deposit and of placement in camp session.

Confirmation: Once a camper is placed into a camp, a confirmation packet will be emailed within two weeks. Confirmation packets will contain specific information regarding your camp session.

A written request for a refund must be received by GSCTX at least two weeks prior to the opening date of the session. Once approved, a refund will be issued for camp fees paid (with the exception of the $50 non-refundable deposit). A refund may only be approved less than two weeks prior to the opening date of the session if the council receives a written medical excuse signed by the treating licensed physician on letter head stating that the camper is unable to attend her camp session. All changes, cancellation, and requests for refunds must be made in writing to the Registration department. No refunds will be issued under the following circumstances: your camper attends camp and does not enjoy her experience or leaves camp early due to homesickness; camp is closed early or is evacuated due to severe weather or unsafe conditions.

Financial Partnership
Financial assistance is available for one session of camp per year. A completed Financial Partnership Application must be submitted to the council for approval. A $50 non-refundable deposit will be required for girls applying for Financial Partnerships in order to reserve a spot. Approval for Financial Partnership does not guarantee placement in a camp program.

Girl Scout Membership

Girl Scout camps are open to all girls. A girl who is not a registered Girl Scout may attend by including the $15 annual Girl Scouts of the USA membership fee with her camp registration. This membership provides, among other things, supplementary accident insurance.
