Wells Fargo and Financial Literacy 

Wells Fargo is focused on the Financial Literacy Initiative which will provide girls the resources and knowledge on how to set goals and become financially responsible when earning and managing money. Wells Fargo understands the importance of financial education for girls who will become productive citizens and contribute to the economy.


Wells Fargo Financial Literacy Patch Curriculum

Girls/troops are eligible for the Wells Fargo Financial Literacy patch once at least five activities in their grade level booklet are complete. Financial Literacy patch program was made possible by Wells Fargo Hands on BankingĀ®. Patches will be given out free of charge, sponsored by Wells Fargo in 2014, to all GSCTX girl members. Please complete the Patch Order Form once you have finished the program. Girl Scout members from other councils may download the booklets and order patches for a minimal cost.

To set up a tour of a Wells Fargo branch or have a Wells Fargo speaker come to co-teach an activity in Area 4 contact Kerri Long (512) 344-7342. Branch tours will be available in Area 3 starting mid March 2014, check back for more information
