Corporate Development Executive - Greater Austin Area (Kodosky Service Center, Austin)
Girl Scouts of Central Texas (GSCTX) is a growing, dynamic youth leadership organization with an $8.2M annual budget headquartered in Austin, Texas.  GSCTX currently has an opening for a Corporate Development Executive who has the responsibility to direct, coordinate, and implement a comprehensive corporate gifts campaign and related activities to maximize support from corporations.  GSCTX is headquartered in North Austin and serves 46 Central Texas Counties.  The Resource Development Executive, based in the Greater Austin area, will focus fundraising efforts on the following Texas counties: Travis, Hays, Williamson, Blanco, Burnet, Llano, Gillespie, Caldwell, and Bastrop Counties. Program Specialist (Brownwood Service Center, Brownwood)
Responsible for development, implementation and evaluation of girl program opportunities. Assume all responsibility for regional girl programs including but not limiting to special events, special interest groups, ongoing programs, travel programs and other council-wide program opportunities. Ensure the development, extension, maintenance, and retention of girl membership that accomplishes council goals and objectives. See more.

Customized Programs Specialist - Girls Lead (Waco Service Center, Waco)
This position is responsible for development, implementation and evaluation of services provided through the Girls Lead Program in the 76707 zip code and at contracted surrounding school sites. The Specialist is responsible for extending membership to all racial/ethnic groups in order to meet membership goals. See more.

STEM Program Specialist (Kodosky Service Center, Austin)
Responsible for development, implementation and evaluation of girl STEM opportunities. Facilitate STEM programs including but not limited to special events, interest groups, EDGE workshops, Day Camps and other Council-wide STEM program opportunities. Assist with the development, extension, maintenance, and retention of girl and adult membership that accomplishes council goals and objectives. Assistant Summer Camp Director (GSCTX Camps)
The Assistant Summer Camp Director will oversee all camp activities, programming, campers and staff for summer resident camp in coordination with and direction of the Summer Camp Director.  The Assistant Summer Camp Director facilitates harmonious camp operations by facilitating community building within the camper group, as well as within the greater camp organization. Bilingual Camp Counselor (GSCTX Camps)
In addition to the regular duties of the Summer Camp Counselor, the Bilingual Summer Camp Counselor ensures efficient and effective communication between camp staff and management.  The Bilingual Camp Counselor will facilitate the camper experience for Spanish speaking campers.  The Bilingual Camp Counselor works with camp management to ensure linguistic and cultural competency within all programs.  Responsible for translation services as required. Creative Program Specialist (GSCTX Camps)
The Creative Program Specialist will enrich camper’s experience by designing and implementing creative, artistic, craft, and fine arts activities to supplement the regular unit program.  The Creative Program Specialist will work closely with the Program Manager to ensure artistic programming is adequately supported and properly executed.  The Green Program Specialist will coordinate Arts and Crafts, as well as other arts-based programming as assigned. Customer Care Specialist (GSCTX Camps)
The camp Customer Care Specialist oversees all office operations, maintains responsive e-mail, phone, and face-to-face communications, and provides program activity summaries to the GSCTX Camps Coordinator.  Strong customer service skills are a large component of this position and the ability to interface with both internal and external customers with positivity and competence. Day Camp Health and Safety Manager (Zilker Cabin, Austin)
The Health and Safety Manager is responsible for the total program of health education and safety practices of the entire camp. The Health and Safety Manager promotes unity, positivity, and customer-friendly service throughout all facets of the camp. See more.

Kitchen Manager (GSCTX Camps)
The Kitchen Manager is responsible for administering the food planning and purchasing for the camp and oversight of health standards in the camp kitchen and dining hall. The Kitchen Manager is responsible for the preparation and facilitation of three meals per day for approximately 150-200 campers and adults.  Kitchen staff will enhance the GSCTX camp experience through positive interactions with campers and staff, prompt and high quality food preparation, and flexible assistance in food-based programming. Kitchen Staff is responsible for the preparation of three meals per day for approximately 150-200 campers and adults.  Kitchen staff will enhance the GSCTX camp experience through positive interactions with campers and staff, prompt and high quality food preparation, and flexible assistance when needed in food-based programming. Leadership Program Specialist (GSCTX Camps)
The Leadership Program Specialist will enrich Leadership Program camper’s experience by designing and implementing GSUSA leadership-building curriculum material and the three keys of leadership: Discover, Connect, Take Action.  The Leadership Program Specialist will work directly with Leadership Campers in the following programs: Program Aide (PA), Sail Aide (SA), Leader in Training (LIT) I and II, Counselor in Training (CIT) I and II, Wrangler in Training (WIT), and Ranger in Training (RIT).  The Leadership Program Specialist will design each program with the direction of the Program Manager and GSCTX Camps Coordinator. Lifeguard (GSCTX Camps)
The lifeguard is responsible for the safety of campers and staff at waterfronts.  The Lifeguard adds to the harmonious camp operations by exhibiting positivity and positive camper engagement. See more.

Sailing Instructor (GSCTX Camps)
The Sailing Instructor is responsible for safety and quality of sailing program and equipment for campers and staff.  The Sailing Instructor will facilitate outstanding water and sailing related programming specific to each unique week.  The Sailing Instructor will enhance overall camp programming by promoting teamwork and community building in all aspects of camper engagement. The Summer Camp Counselor ensures the physical, mental, and emotional safety of campers, facilitates daily camp activities with groups and individuals, implements weekly programming, and facilitates community building within the camper group, as well as within the greater camp organization. The Summer Camp Wrangler will care for and maintain horses and the barn facility. Travel Intern (Bryan/College Station Area Service Center, Bryan)
Support the Council Travel Coordinator during the fall destinations season. Attend the destinations financial aid committee meetings. Coordinate with girls, volunteers, adults and collaborators involved in all council sponsored trips. The Marketing Department seeks an unpaid, design intern to assist with the creation of graphic elements. Applicants should be familiar with the Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and InDesign and have a desire to work on a wide variety of projects. The Marketing Department seeks 1-2 unpaid, PR interns to assist with all functions of the marketing department with an emphasis on media relations and content development. Applicants should have strong writing skills, strong speaking skills and be customer service-minded. Internships are part-time and are available fall, spring and summer.
