Camp Dixie Allison

This 104 acre site property on the San Saba River near Menard accommodates large groups for tent camping and small groups (troops) for lodge camping. The smaller lodge accomodates 15 sleeping bags, cots are not available. Restroom and kitchen to the lodge by a breezeway. Port-a-potties are allowed for large tent groups.

With the San Saba River running through the camp, fishing and canoeing are favorited activties. Self guided nature walks provide an alternative activity and an opportunity to see dinosaur footprints!

Camp Happy Hollow

This 5 acre facility near Brenham accomdates 350 and offers a versatile combination of tent and lodge camping. It is primarily used for tent camping but a combination lodge and kitchen and one lodge with bunks provide options for diverse group. Additional accomodations include fire circles, shelters, a large bathhouse, a pavilion and amphitheatre.

Camp Howdy

This 60 acre site along Turkey Creek in the Byran area is just for nature lovers. The camp accomodates tent camping only and is also used for day camp and day events. A self-guided nature trail gives visitors a broad variety of flora and fauna. There are 22 tent units and some have tent pads available. 

Camp sites have picnic tables, fire circles, and latrines. There are two shelters, each with a refrigerator and fireplace. Limited tents and cooking supplies available.
